University of Gour Banga is a university established in 2008 and situated in English Bazar, West Bengal, India. Almost all of the 28 colleges in English Bazar, Uttar Dinajpur and Dakshin Dinajpur, with the exception of Raiganj University College, are affiliated with this university. The University of Gour Banga is a State University established under the West Bengal Act XXVI 0f 2007. Approved by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
